Our academic coaching program caters to students who struggle in their school curriculum. Our coaches places emphasis on our client's learning styles, habits and current difficulties and barriers in their studies. They then work together with the student to create and put in place more effective learning strategies that aims to create a positive environment as well as a heightened awareness of the needed strategies to achieve success. 

 

Our academic coaches understand how integral the Executive Function skills are to learning. They employ learning tools that target this particular area of skills. They teach students how to task analyse their work, break down learning into smaller components and map out their time to learn effectively. Our academic coaches build in supports that assist the students in developing an effective learning process.

 

How our Academic Coaching works:

• Lessons are aligned to curriculum that student follows at school

• Formulated to increase capacity of functionality, understanding and confidence of student

• Provide support in assignment and exam preparation

• Emphasis on Numeracy skills, measurement skills, geometry, statistics, arithmetic, comprehensive skills, critical thinking, vocabulary building and literacy skills

• Lessons are planned based on recommendations given by student's learning support team in school.

• Teaching method varies according to each child's learning styles, needs and experience.

• Lessons provide a healthy balance of both cognitive and sensory experience

Our academic coaches are qualified and have experience working with children with special needs and learning challenges. They are continuously upgrading themselves by taking up courses on diversity and differentiated instructions. With our holistic approach towards learning, all our students are provided with a positive learning environment in which they can thrive.

Our Session fees

 

•  Home Coaching starts from $95 per session

• Centre Coaching starts from $ 80 per session. Kindly take note that centre classes are of a 2:1 setting only.
